The Portsmouth News yesterday ran a story suggesting Clarke is set to move to the Amex this summer.

The mum of Ronan Curtis - one of Clarke's Pompey team-mates - wished Clarke 'all the success' at Brighton on Twitter.

She posted: "Like to take this opportunity to wish Matt Clarke all the success at your new club Brighton F.C. you’ve been fantastic for Portsmouth so go enjoy your time from Curtis family."

New Seagulls boss Graham Potter is said to be a huge admirer of Clarke but nothing official has yet been announced regarding the 22-year-old's future.

The Mirror reports young Liverpool ace Wilson is attracting interest from a number of clubs, including Brighton.

Wilson starred on loan in the Championship for Derby last season when he scored 18 goals and provided four assists.
