Brighton & Hove Albion striker Florin Andone is relishing Premier League leaders Liverpool coming to the Amex on Saturday.

Albion increased their unbeaten run to four games on Saturday when they progressed into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win at Bournemouth.

Brighton lost 1-0 at Anfield in the Premier League in August and Liverpool head to the Seagulls on the back of their first league defeat of the season, after losing 2-1 at Manchester City last week.

Speaking after Albion's victory at Bournemouth, Andone said: "It was a very important win.

"We are in a good moment, I don't know if it's the best moment but it's a good moment and next week is Liverpool.

"You can be in the best moment and Liverpool can beat you 5-0 but we will do our best for our fans and our families and we will try to win the game."

Asked if Liverpool's defeat to City will have any bearing, Andone said: "Manchester City is one of the best in the world as well. I don't know if it's bad or good but I know Liverpool are very, very strong.

"They are one of the best teams in the world and it will be very hard."
