An investigation into the Premier League stadiums with the most crimes within a one-mile radius saw Newcastle's St James' Park placed top, while the area around Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium had the fewest reported crimes.
Football ticketing company, Ticketgum.com sought to investigate the major Premier League stadiums with the most crimes within a one-mile radius during the month of November 2018 (the most up-to-date stats). The total number of crimes for each stadium was taken from UK Crime Stats.
When defining the ‘total number of crimes’, UK Crime Stats include the following offences: Anti-social behaviour, robbery, burglary, vehicle crime, violent crime, drugs, criminal damage and arson, shoplifting, bike theft, theft from the person, other theft, weapons, public order and other crime.
The results placed St James’ Park, the home to Newcastle United, at the top of the crime table with 1,913 crimes in November alone. That is the equivalent to 64 a day.
Second on the list is the area of Holloway, where Arsenal's Emirates Stadium is situated. The area saw 1,421 crimes in November 2018.
Chelsea’s home ground, Stamford Bridge, comes third with 1,173 offences reported in the area within a one-mile radius - the equivalent to nearly 40 crimes per day.

The next lowest were Cardiff City Stadium (288), Old Trafford (363), Etihad Stadium (448) and Vitality Stadium (510).
