Big guns rekindle interest in Brighton talent, Euro giants keen on Premier League loanee - gossip

As we gear up to jump right into the thick of another weekend of Premier League action, the rumour mill shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.

For Brighton, the January transfer window could represent a great opportunity to strengthen Graham Potter's squad as the Seagulls look to make good on the promise they have shown in the early stages of this season and finally pull themselves well clear of a relegation tussle.

Climbing the table would be made a whole lot harder if they were to lose Ben White, however, and according to Ian McGarry of the Transfer Window podcast, the vultures are beginning to circle on Albion’s exciting young asset.

McGarry has suggested that Liverpool are keen to reignite their summer interest in the 23-year-old in the near future.

Speaking on his show, he said: “We have information here at the Transfer Window, that Manchester United and Liverpool have re-established interest, which they showed first of all in the summer, in Brighton defender Ben White, who has made a very, very impressive start to the season at the south coast club, having, of course, completed last season on loan at Leeds United.”

Wolves striker Patrick Cutrone could leave the club in January, with Torino interested in signing him. The forward is currently on loan at Fiorentina, but has failed to make an impact with the Serie A side, and could see that deal cut short to seal a permanent exit. (Tuttosport)

Former Newcastle United loanee Jetro Willems has opened the door to the prospect of rejoining the Magpies in the January transfer window. The full-back told a Dutch talk show: “[It’s] A wonderful club. In terms of history, stadium, Geordies, that accent is nice. I hope to be able to go to England. That suits me.
