A clip emerged on social media, posted by a Crystal Palace fan, with Shane Duffy, Pascal Gross, Leandro Trossard and Alireza Jahanbakhsh all appearing.

The caption read: "Some of the Brighton players are having a good winter break it seems looool."

It is unclear what was in the balloons.

A club spokesperson said: "The club is aware of the video circulating on social media. This matter is being dealt with internally."

Brighton were due to travel to Dubai for a training camp following the weekend's 1-1 draw with Watford but that was postponed due to security fears.

The players were enjoying time off in Spain, and are not back in action until 22 February when they travel to Sheffield United.

With the club in a relegation battle, sitting 15th, three points above the drop zone, it is a headache boss Graham Potter could likely do without.
