The Seagulls have recently signed Adam Lallana, Jensen Weir alongside Holland international Joel Veltman from Ajax, but it appears that the club are interested in signing another Dutchman.

According to BN DeStem, Brighton are eyeing a deal to sign the 20-year-old from NAC Breda and are willing to meet the €2 million asking price, which works out at around £1.8m.

French giants AS Monaco are also said to be interested and have reportedly agreed on a fee, but the deal seems to have stalled, which has alerted Graham Potter.

Brighton center backs Lewis Dunk, Ben White and Shane Duffy have all been linked with big-money moves away from the south coast this summer – with West Ham United, Leeds United and Chelsea all reportedly interested.
