Brighton recorded a victory against Arsenal and claimed at 0-0 draw at Leicester as Graham Potter's men gained four points from their previous two matches.

Their performances have been encouraging and helped to ease some relegation anxiety, but with Man United, Norwich, Liverpool and Man City on the horizon, Albion are far from safe.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team, who reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup yesterday thanks to late winner from Harry Maguire at Norwich, remain in contention for a Champions League spot.

United also have four points following the restart after a draw at Tottenham and an impressive 3-0 win against Sheffield United.

The are currently sixth and three points behind fifth placed Wolves, who beat Albion's relegation rivals Aston Villa on Saturday. Fifth could well be enough for a CL spot, if Manchester City's ban is upheld.

What’s the team news? Brighton's Adam Webster is doubtful with a hamstring injury sustained against Leicester and Shane Duffy could be in contention to start alongside skipper Lewis Dunk at the heart of the defence.

Dunk is however one booking away from a two match suspension. Long-term absentee Jose Izquierdo (knee) remains out. Tariq Lamptey will hope to keep his starting role after an impressive debut from the young right back at the King Power Stadium.

Other than Axel Tuanzebe, United should be at full strength after their extra-time win at Carrow Road, though Daniel James and Maguire are both one yellow away from suspension.

Leandro Trossard on United: “The key for us has probably been the belief in ourselves as a group that we can take points off anyone in the division.

“The comeback against Arsenal really showed that, we kept going until the last seconds to win the match and it’s proved to be massive for our confidence.

“The way they’re playing at the moment is very good, there are some big names and their biggest strength is the pace and skill they have in attack.

“One-on-one they can take people on, so it’s a challenge because speed in the modern game is a massive thing.

“Aaron Wan-Bissaka has probably been my toughest opponent so far, he has a bit of everything. He is quick, strong and is good on the ball.

“You think you’ve got away from him and then he can be back on you, but it’s another chance to test myself against him.”

Michael Carrick on Pogba and Fernandes: "It is understandable why a lot of the questions are ‘can they play together’ because they are two fantastic talents.

“We feel we’ve got a really good balance in midfield between all the lads really. It is kind of unfair to single them out asking ‘can they play together’ because the other boys have done a terrific job and will have plenty to say as well.

“Of course, the talk is about Bruno and Paul and I’m sure they can play together. That’s why they are both here at the club and I’m sure they are looking forward to it. But as Bruno and Paul would totally understand me saying, it is not just about them.”
