Brighton transfer rumours: Seagulls' Premier League rivals target £11m-rated attacker - Chelsea, Leicester City, Liverpool and Leeds United talk

Brighton lost to West Brom yesterday in what was a controversial Premier League fixture.

The Seagulls went behind early on to a headed effort from Kyle Bartley.

Brighton almost immediately responded after winning a penalty thanks to a VAR call that deemed Okay Yokuslu handled in the area, but Pascal Gross smashed the resulting spot-kick against the bar.

But Graham Potter’s thought they had equalised when a quickly taken free-kick from centre-back Lewis Dunk caught goalkeeper Sam Johnstone off-guard.

Confusion then reigned in the aftermath as referee Lee Mason and his VAR team struggled to determine whether or not the official had blown his whistle before or after the ball had been kicked.

After initially appearing to give the goal, Mason took a long period of deliberation and even went over to his pitchside monitor before disallowing the strike.

Brighton kept on pressing for an equaliser after the break, however, and had another gilded opportunity to peg the Baggies back when Gross was brought down in the penalty area deep into the second half.

This time Danny Welbeck stepped up, but he also rather incredibly saw his attempt hit the woodwork.

The result leaves Brighton four points clear of the drop zone, with relegation rivals Fulham and Newcastle United both holding a game in hand over Graham Potter's men.

But what about transfers?

Here, we take a look at the rest of the transfer talk from the Premier League from around the internet as Brighton’s top-flight target some eye-catching deals:
