Writing on the BBC Sport website, the former Seagulls defender tipped Graham Potter's side to carry the momentum of their history 2-1 win over Arsenal through to the weekend, and secure the same scoreline against Wolves at the AMEX Stadium.

He wrote: "Wolves have not lost in the Premier League since 14 September, and are clearly a very well-drilled side with a clever coach in Nuno Espirito Santo. They have scored some important late goals in that time too, which is a useful habit to have.

"But I just have a feeling that their run will end here. Brighton will cause them some problems - the Seagulls will have to work hard to hold out though."

Conversely, tennis superstar Andy Murray - Lawro's prediction opponent for the week - backed the visitors to take all three points on Sunday in an edgy 1-0 win.

Albion will be in fine spirits following Thursday night's excellent showing at the Emirates Stadium, and will be confident of maintaining their four-match unbeaten run against the West Midlands side.
