Albion’s defeat to Leicester City was compounded when Fulham drew level on points with Graham Potter’s men following a shock 1-0 victory at Liverpool.

Newcastle’s 0-0 draw against West Brom lifted them above the Seagulls in the table, though are still just one point outside the bottom three.

Scott Parker’s Fulham have lost just one of their previous seven games, and former Liverpool defender Warnock is convinced they’ll see survival through.

On the other hand, he believes the future of Brighton and Newcastle in the top-flight is up in the air.

Warnock told Sky Sports’ Football Show: “I’m going to go for Sheffield United, West Brom and Newcastle.

"When I look at Brighton – it’s either Newcastle or Brighton – because I think Fulham will get out of it.

"They’ve got enough. The intent on the break, the organisation and the defensive record they’ve got of late.

"They’ve got the second-best defence in the league since (Joachim) Andersen and Tosin (Adarabioyo) have started playing together, which speaks volumes of what Scott Parker has done there.

"Brighton – they’re very pretty on the eye. They don’t have an edge about them, they don’t have a ruthless streak in front of goal or that killer instinct.

"Newcastle have huge problems upfront and the way they create opportunities and don’t have that firepower.

"So, I think Fulham will have enough. I said it a couple of weeks ago, if Scott Parker keeps Fulham up, he’s manager of the season.”
