With the new Premier League season inching closer, a supercomputer has crunched the data and made some interesting predictions for the 2021/22 campaign
Brighton will compete in the Premier League for a record breaking fifth campaign and according to the data experts at sportingindex.com, Graham Potter's men are tipped for their highest ever top flight finish.
Albion will be joined in the Premier League this season by newly-promoted Brentford, while Watford and Norwich also bounced back at the first attempt following their relegation to the Championship in 2020. The computer also predicts a tough time ahead for new Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira.
West Ham aim to build on their success of last season and it could be a close battle for the top spots with Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United the main contenders.
