Revealed! The Premier League clubs most likely to do business on deadline day - and how Brighton compare

Transfer deadline day is always a hectic time in the Premier League, and today promises to be no different.

With the deadline fast approaching, and with no opportunity to reinforce their squads before the end of the season, top flight managers are looking to push through any last bit of business they can in the final few hours.

For Brighton, perhaps the biggest unanswered question is what will become of Moises Caicedo.

Albion looked to be home and hosed in the race for the Ecuadorian, but as yet, there has been no official announcement of his arrival on the south coast.

Whether that will change before the deadline passes later this evening remains to be seen, but the hope will surely be that a deal can be wrapped up for a player who was a target for Manchester United just a few short weeks ago.

Speaking of the Reds, Sergio Romero is still an interesting option for Brighton.

The veteran Argentine stopper has been linked before, and with his position at Old Trafford clearly in peril, a move could still be on the cards.

But historically, how have the Seagulls fared on deadline day?FreeSuperTips have evaluated which top flight clubs have a greater tendency to conduct their business on the final day of the window by compiling data comparing their number of last minute deals to their total number of January acquisitions.
