Seagulls keeper Mathew Ryan made three excellent saves in the second half, after Wolves' Diogo Jota had twice hit the woodwork. Here's how we rated the players of both teams.

Superbly denied Dendoncker from point-blank range, then kept out Neves' dipping shot and Dendoncker's header late on.
Club captain never lets Albion down and was assured at the back. Subbed.
Strong in the air and defended superbly, especially as Wolves piled on the pressure late on. Got away with misplaced pass on 19 minutes when Doherty fired well wide.
Blocked early dangerous low Doherty cross. Dealt well with Jimenez throughout and excellent interception denied the Mexican a chance just past the hour.
Returned to the starting line-up in place of Bernardo. Solid at the back.
Did his defensive duties well, had more opportunities to get forward in the second half. Low cross early in the second period turned just past the near post by Boly.
Composed in the middle of the park and helped Albion keep the ball with simple passes and by spreading play. Booked.
Forced off through injury after just nine minutes.
First Premier League start since December. Gave away the ball a couple of times as not quite up to match speed. Better in the second half.
Excellent tracking back to deny Jota a chance midway through the first half. Worked hard and battled away throughout.
Battled away up top on his own.
Came on for the last 20 minutes.
Quiet afternoon in goal as Brighton did not have a shot on target.
Returned to the starting line-up in place of Romain Saiss. Good battle with Murray from aerial balls forward.
Steady influence at the back. Marshalled the defence well.
Steady in three-man defence. Nodded Moutinho cross wide early on. Cleared low cross by March at the start of the second period for a corner.
Lively down the right. Driving run and cross cut out by Dunk in early stages. Fired wide from tight angle later in the first half. Subbed.
Came into the team for Leander Dendoncker. Nice skill early on to keep hold of the ball while falling to the floor otherwise quiet. Subbed.
Threat from set-pieces and comfortable and composed on the ball. Early cross headed wide by Boly.
Kept the hosts in possession with neat passes. Late dipping shot well held by Ryan.
Worked hard up and down the left wing. A couple of crosses almost created openings. Subbed.
Forward looked to link play. Sent rising shot over in the second half.
Wolves' most lively threat. Denied by last-ditch Gross tackle, flashed a shot just wide and hit the top of the bar in the first half. Headed against a post in the second half.
Sent on midway through the second half.
Got the last 18 minutes. Denied by Ryan from close range soon afterwards.
Late introduction on the right.
