Speaking ahead of this afternoon's FA Cup fourth round tie at the Amex with West Brom, Bruno said: "Of course I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t thinking about my future but it’s not like a big deal for me right now.

"I know it could be my last season. I will take the decision not now, maybe in a couple of months.

"Right now, I am trying to enjoy everything. The older you get, you know you are closer to that end."

Brighton have made it clear that would like Bruno to stay at the club in some capacity when he retires but he is unsure what he will do when he hangs up his boots.

Bruno said: "I don’t know, we will see.

"I have been talking with a lot of former players and it is a difficult transition.

"It’s not an easy one but you have to be positive. You need to be grateful for everything you have done and be positive for the future.

"Right now I feel really good. I am training at the same level as all of the boys.

"I think the games I have played, I think were good performances as well.

"I feel strong mentally as well and we will see at the end of the season."

Asked whether he will stay at the club when he stops playing, Bruno said: "I love the club, I love the city.

"My family love the place as well. When I retire one of the options, and I would love it as well, is to stay here."

Looking ahead to today's game with West Brom, Bruno said: "They are a side with no fear coming here.

"They have a strong team and have a lot of quality and experience.

"Last year both games were really difficult and I'm expecting a difficult game.

"It would be really nice to have a good run. It would be special and we have a big chance this season as we have good depth in the squad."
