Dunk was a late call-up to the Three Lions squad to take on Croatia and Spain in the Nations League in October, before he made his England debut in a 3-0 friendly win against the United States in November.

The Brighton born-and-bred centre-half has captained the Seagulls on several occasions in the Premier League this season and hopes he has done enough to again be in Gareth Southgate's squad.

The England squad is announced on Wednesday for the European Championship qualifiers against Czech Republic and Montenegro.

Dunk said: "Hopefully I've done enough again to be in the squad.

"It's a dream for everyone to be in those squads, so I'll just wait and see if I'm in it or not.

"It would be an achievement to be in it again.

"You have ups and downs but I feel I'm doing okay at the moment and I've just got to keep grinding out performances and do what I'm doing."
