Brighton & Hove Albion v Arsenal: Likely line-ups for Premier League clash

Brighton will look to end a run of three successive Premier League defeats when they host Arsenal at the Amex on Boxing Day.

The Seagulls have lost to Burnley, Chelsea and Bournemouth in their last three matches, while Arsenal go into the game on the back of a 3-1 victory over Burnley.

Albion beat the Gunners 2-1 at home last season, while Arsenal were 2-0 victors at the Emirates.

The game kicks off at 5.15pm.

Lewis Dunk, who scored in the 2-1 win against Arsenal last season, will miss the match through suspension after his red card at Bournemouth on Saturday.

Defender Shane Duffy is back available after serving a three-game ban following his red card against Crystal Palace earlier this month.

Wingers Alireza Jahanbakhsh (hamstring) and Jose Izquierdo (knee) will again miss out. Jahanbakhsh has joined up with the Iran squad for the Asian Cup.

Glenn Murray, Dale Stephens and Anthony Knockaert, who were all on the bench against Bournemouth, will be looking to return to the starting line-up.

ARSENAL

Gunners boss Unai Emery has decisions to make over whether to stick with the same side which ran out 3-1 winners at home to Burnley on Saturday.

Midfielder Lucas Torreira, who has impressed this season, could come back into the starting 11, while Alex Iwobi came off the bench to score against Burnley.

Arsenal are set to be without full-back Hector Bellerin, who has been ruled out of action for a few weeks with a calf injury.

Defender Rob Holding (knee) is out for the season, while Shkodran Mustafi (hamstring) could also miss out.

Nacho Monreal limped off against Burnley and is also likely to miss the game.
