Albion created several chances before Florin Andone headed home the only goal on 79 minutes. Here's how we rated the players of both teams.

Parried away Pritchard's long-ranger and got down well to his left to save Bacuna's low strike. Tipped over Mounie header at 1-0 as he kept his fifth clean sheet of the season.
Not really troubled defensively and got forward more in the second half.
Dominant in the air when Huddersfield sent the ball long and a constant threat from set-pieces. Headed one against a post just before Albion scored.
Defended well and and helped to restrict Huddersfield's chances.
First Premier League start since the beginning of January. Solid in defence and supported Albion's attacks well down the left.
Spread play out wide and kept Albion in possession from his holding midfield role.
Always available for a pass and kept things simple.
Replaced the injury Pascal Gross in the starting line-up. Eager to be involved and pass set up opportunity for Murray on 53 minutes. Subbed.
Came more into the game in the second half and his set-pieces were a threat. Crossed for Andone to head Albion's winner.
Little joy in the first half. Had a shot blocked by Bacuna early in the second half just before he was subbed. Booked.
Unlucky not to score his first Albion goal when his 25-yarder came back off the bar. Looked to make things happen and had another shot saved by Lossl. First Premier League start since November. Subbed.
Sent on for Murray after 56 minutes and looked to use his pace to get behind the Huddersfield defence. Well-hit strike saved by Lossl, before he headed home Knockaert's cross.
Introduced late on and pace caused the visitors problems. Sent one shot out for a throw.
Sent on in the closing stages for Bissouma.
Stood watching as Jahanbakhsh's shot hit the bar late in the first half. Superb save to deny Andone in the second half and also kept out Jananbakhsh shot. No chance with Andone's winner.
Only change from the Terriers' midweek win as he came in for Demeaco Duhaney. Driving run and low shot forced Ryan into decent low stop. Superb challenge to block Murray shot.
Defended well throughout but Andone got in behind the Terriers defence to head the only goal.
Nice ball over the Albion defence for Durm early on. Made good ground to stop Andone breaking away. Solid all afternoon.
Defended well in the first half but Knockaert was more of a threat after the break down his side.
Sat just in front of the back four. Made an excellent defensive header to stop Dunk getting on the end of a dangerous delivery. Subbed.
Took a knock to his ribs early on and was clearly struggling until he went off late in the first half.
Turned down a move to Albion in 2016 to sign for Norwich and was booed throughout by Brighton fans. Shot from distance parried by Ryan but made little impact otherwise. Subbed.
Led a couple of breakaways and comfortable in possession. Fierce drive straight at Ryan.
A couple of neat touches but wasn't really involved. January signing from Charlton.
Cross-shot comfortably held by Ryan early on and header tipped over late on. Booked.
Replaced Hogg late in the first half. Booked.
Went on for Pritchard on the hour.
Replaced Stankovic 25 minutes from time.
