Golds exit Senior Cup away to Uckfield

LITTLEHAMPTON Football Club were knocked out of the Sussex Senior Cup by division-lower AFC Uckfield on Tuesday evening.

George Landais netted for Littlehampton on Tuesday

AFC Uckfield, who are fifth in Division 2, took the lead through a Joey Miller penalty five minutes before half-time.

The hosts went 2-0 up through Elliott Wood on 67 minutes but Michael Hendrick pulled a goal back for County League leaders Golds just five minutes later.

AFC Uckfield moved 3-1 ahead on 80 minutes when Miller netted his second of the game.

George Landais got Littlehampton’s second to make it 3-2 on 83 minutes but AFC Uckfield held on to reach the second round.
