Hastings game tonight is off
Hastings United’s game away to Peacehaven & Telscombe tonight (Wednesday) has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The pitch at The Sports Park has failed a noon inspection so the Sussex Senior Cup third round tie between Sussex County League leaders Peacehaven and Ryman League Premier Division outfit United will be played at a later day.
United are already facing a massive backlog of fixtures following their success in the FA Cup and Ryman League Cup. The U’s have midweek matches lined-up for just about every week until well into April and are only at the midway point in their league programme.
