Gross has missed Albion's last five matches with a hamstring injury and will not be fit in time to play at Wembley.

Solly March went off with a calf injury at Chelsea last night and will be assessed in the next couple of days. Jurgen Locadia was not risked at Stamford Bridge but Hughton hopes he will be available for Saturday.

Albion boss Chris Hughton said: "At this moment the only one we know that definitely won't make it is Pascal.

"We'll assess Solly this morning. The good news is although he felt his calf tightening a little bit, it doesn't feel like a pull.

"We'll assess him and we're hoping everyone else will be okay.

"Jurgen felt his calf very slightly yesterday so we decided not to take a risk. We're hoping he'll train this morning and that being that case he'll be available."
