One still out but one set to return for Brighton's match at Chelsea

The Romanian striker has missed the Seagulls' last three matches but is now back in training and Seagulls boss Chris Hughton hopes he will be in the 18-man squad at Stamford Bridge.

Midfielder Pascal Gross will miss a fifth successive game and Hughton said: "Pascal Gross is still not available. Florin trained again this morning so we are hopeful he will be in the squad."

Hughton knows Brighton will have to be at their best to be in with a chance of getting a result at Chelsea and said: "There isn't anywhere we've gone this season that we've gone thinking we're going to lose and can we just keep it a tight game.

"We know we're reliant on playing well and the opposition playing poorly. Anything different to that and the top six teams are generally always going to win.

"We're reliant on other factors but mostly we'll just concentrate on ourselves and playing well enough to give ourselves a chance."
