Albion sit 13th in the table at the halfway stage with 22 points from 19 games.

They are ten points clear of the bottom three and Gross insists survival remains the number one goal: "We want to stay up. Every game we want to get points to achieve our goal.

"When we've done that, we can speak about different things but we want to stay up and that's the most important thing.

"It's hard in this league to get points, so we should only think about this goal and afterwards think about different things.

"The first half is over and we have 22 points, which is all right. We've had some matches where we maybe could have got more.

"We should be happy with what we have but second half we want to improve. We always want to get better as a club and as a team and that's why we train every day."

Brighton host Everton at the Amex this afternoon (3pm).
