The Seagulls host the Cherries at the Amex on Saturday (3pm), before they face the Bluebirds in a huge relegation clash on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Kevin Friend will be the man in the middle for Saturday's match. He has taken charge of 23 Premier League games this season and has shown 82 yellow cards and two reds.

Friend has been a lucky omen for Albion in the Premier League this season. He has officiated four Brighton matches and the Seagulls have won three of them, against Manchester United, West Ham and Crystal Palace.

The other game was the 1-0 home defeat to Liverpool in January.

Matthew Wilkes and Derek Eaton will be the assistant referees on Saturday and the fourth official will be Stuart Attwell.

On Tuesday, Andre Marriner will take charge of Brighton's home game with Cardiff. He has shown 64 yellow cards and three reds in 23 Premier League matches this season.

Marriner has refereed just one Albion Premier League match this season, the 1-0 win at Newcastle in October. He also took charge of the Seagulls' 1-0 EFL Cup defeat to Southampton at the start of the season.

Scott Ledger and Simon Long will be the assistant referees on Tuesday, with Chris Kavanagh the fourth official.
