David Ajiboye arrived at the club having been released by Brighton last summer.

Whilst Jordan Maguire-Drew, Danny Barker, Reece Meekums are just a few that have enjoyed loan spells with Worthing during their time in Albion's youth ranks.

Hinshelwood was also under-18s assisstant manager at Brighton for a spell before becoming Hastings boss in May 2017.

Although he has looked at the latest crop released by his former club, the fact none are based in Sussex would make moves difficult.

But Hinshelwood has been speaking to players as Worthing look to bring in 'three or four' new signings for next season.

He said: "I shouldn’t think we’ll move for any of them (the Brighton released players).

“I’ve looked at the list. But none of them are really based in and around the Sussex area.

They’ll be three or four new faces, just adding to what we’ve already got.

“I’m speaking to players all the time.

“But it’s not always as straightforward as that."
