Seagulls open new-look ticket office at Amex

Brighton and Hove Albion have opened a new ticket office in time for tomorrow's game.

Brighton and Hove Albion have opened their new-look ticket office and it will serve as the new collection point for first time this Saturday, for the match with Blackpool.

The improvements to the ticket office are the final part of a six-figure investment by the club in a summer refurbishment programme, which also saw the club store receive a facelift.

Paul Barber, chief executive, said: "We are always listening to feedback, looking and striving to improve the Amex and the matchday experience for supporters, and the work carried out this summer will mean an improved service for those fans collecting tickets or wishing to visit the store.

"Martin Perry and his team has done a superb job and the new design of the store and ticket office will mean we don't have both groups squeezing into the shop; so the ticket office can deal with queries and collections much quicker, while our retail team will be able to help fans enjoy a better experience when shopping in the store."

As part of the summer improvements, the club has also invested in wifi at the Amex, which is now free for all supporters and visitors to the stadium.

Mr Barber added: "Wifi isn't the easiest thing to make work in a stadium, but with the help of Sky's The Cloud team we've already seen some impressive results and great feedback.

"It's something supporters were keen for us to install, and now it's in it further enhances the whole matchday experience for our fans who want to engage with us via our official app and various social media streams."

The new ticket office is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm; on Saturday matchdays from 9am until half time, then it reopens from the final whistle until 30 minutes after full-time. Non-matchday Saturdays it opens from 10am until 3pm.
