VIDEO: Paul Faili gives his verdict on Bridges’ defeat
Three Bridges manager Paul Faili reckoned his side gave encouraging signs of improvement during their 1-0 defeat at home to Faversham.
He said: “We went 1-0 down through a very poor penalty decision. I have no complaints about my players. In the first half we planned to stop them playing which worked spot on. In the second half we changed it and went on the offensive and the only thing which didn’t happen was for the ball to go in the back of the net. They gave their goalkeeper man of the match today and that says it all.
“Our performance was outstanding even though the result wasn’t what we wanted at all.”
