The Seagulls will hope to bounce back from Saturday's disappointing 1-0 defeat to Southampton when they travel to a Blues side who are pushing for a top-four finish.

Albion are five points clear of the relegation zone and Duffy does not feel Brighton can simply rely on their home form to stay in the top flight.

He said: "You've got to win games away from home and that's the simple fact. You'll see it over the season that there will be upsets.

"We're going to go to Chelsea with no fear, to enjoy it and try and get a result. Then we can concentrate on the cup."

Duffy is backing Albion to bounce back from their defeat to Southampton and said: "We've got a strong dressing room and a strong manager. You're going to have setbacks over a season.

"We're quite comfortable at home and play quite well usually. Not many teams come here and beat us so it was a disappointing afternoon but we can react and cause an upset on Wednesday.

"We're all looking forward to going there and testing ourselves against the best players and that's why we're in this league. We want to be in it next year so will go there and play with freedom."
