It's 3-11 after two games!

THE WORST START in their Ryman League history is upon Worthing and their fans. Opening defeats of 5-2 at home to Margate and 6-1 away to Tonbridge Angels have shocked Rebels' world.

Highly-heralded new defender Lord Ndiwa was axed at half-time on Saturday, by which time Worthing trailed 5-0. At Tonbridge on Tuesday they conceded two penalties and had a man sent off for preventing a goal.

Bloor confessed: "It's a disastrous start and I'd like personally to apologise to our fans and anyone else who is remotely interested in us. We weren't good enough and maybe we need to change some personnel and our playing system for the present pitches.

"It was embarrassing for me to see us concede goals the way we did. We almost seemed to be doing so for fun. We went down like dominoes. We just looked immobile. Ndiwa looked all over the shop and said he felt sick. Not half as sick as I was feeling. He'd played well at Bognor and against Bashley."
