LACROSSE: EAST GRINSTEAD SCORE A WIN

IT was another good weekend for East Grinstead lacrosse club as Reading's second team made the trip down for an early season fixture.

The game started off at a good tempo and East Grinstead were able to settle the ball quickly, play some good lacrosse and gain confidence right from the start.

Reading's second team are quite an inexperienced side, this being their first year together, however, they played hard and gave a good account of themselves before East Grinstead's Jack Foster, showed once again that he can handle playing in the seniour league, grabbing his first of two goals in the quarter.

From then on the quarter remained East Grinstead's and big Adam Watkins and the ever threatening Olly Kingston grabbed a goal each to make it four to nothing by the end of the first quarter.

The subsequent win helps Grinstead 'A' push on in their league campaign and it sets them up well to challenge for the East 2 title this year.

East Grinstead Lacrosse Club is proud to be the future of lacrosse in Sussex. Established in 2004 and located between London and Brighton, East Grinstead is leading the way for lacrosse in the South-East of England.
