The Seagulls beat United 1-0 at the Amex to seal survival last season and need three points tonight to claw themselves closer to Premier League safety.

Hughton admits his side have to draw on good experiences like beating United - who they also defeated at the Amex this season as well - and said: "Maybe it’s one that I will remind them of.

"It has been a quicker turnaround, we were off yesterday (Wednesday), training today (Thursday).

"It was a wonderful occasion for us that night. I think it will be closer now because I think we will be going into that second last game, but yes, you have to draw on it and any good experiences.

"And what they showed that day or that night was how much it meant, the desire to win a football match in any way and we will have to show that same approach again on Saturday."
