Riding Club has national triumph
Horsham and district riding club returned home victorious from the Riding Club National Championships recently. They won three team events giving the club a record breaking hat trick.
More than 1500 competitors from all over Great Britain took part in the championships, held in the summer sunshine at the Lincolnshire showground.
The show jumping team of Ros Head with San Sauve Prince, Helen Greenwood with Skylark Millie, Maggie Whatford with Ross the Boss and Jo Radford Smith with Minita Greenstone jumped brilliantly to finish a two-round competition on a total team score of four faults.
