Safari Mischief secures top start to the season for racing stables

SAFARI Mischief has started the turf Flat season in style for Robin's Farm Racing Stables at Chiddingfold

Peter Winkworth has 40 horses there for this season, including around 20 juveniles. The balance of horses has firmly changed in the yard to Flat runners, though some useful National Hunt horses are still retained.

Anton Pearson, who trains for Winkworth, said: "We have a good number this year. Some may not make the grade but there are some nice horses amongst them and it is very pleasing to have a good crop of two-year-olds this season."
