Sarah is Lady of Spain after successful tour

DRESSAGE rider and trainer Sarah Millis of Slinfold has recently returned from three weeks of competition on the CDI Spanish Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera.

Sarah travelled to Spain with four horses of her own plus two owned and ridden by her pupils, Emily Cousins and Jo Dykes, who is also an owner of Sarah's.

Sarah began her first week by finishing a very creditable ninth in the Grand Prix and eighth in the Grand Prix Special, riding Korenbloem O'Neill, against strong international competition.

She has just started campaigning the horse in the big tour classes but unfortunately O'Neill started to slightly cough at the start of the second week, so she took the decision to give him time to get over this. By the third week, O'Neill was fit enough to compete again, and he put in some pleasing performances.

Sarah's two eight-year-old horses, Timberland III and Fideramber, owned by Jo, were competing in the small tour with both horses performing very well and picking up some very decent results.
