Soccer pundits on track for a day at the races

HUNDREDS of people have booked up to hear the views of Britain's top soccer pundits and commentators as they switch their attention to horse racing.

BBC TV's John Motson and Jonathan Pearce will be joined at Brighton Racecourse on Friday 23 May by other football luminaries like former Gunners Lee Dixon and Martin Keown as well as Robbie Earle.

The Sportsman's Lunch is to raise funds for the Lily Foundation which is committed to finding a cure for Mitochondrial Disease and other metabolic disorders through funding research and providing support for sufferers. The BBC's Jonathan Pearce is a trustee of the charity.
