TALE OF TWO HALVES

EAST PRESTON FC manager Mark Chaplin was delighted with his side's fighting spirit in the second half at Sidley on Saturday after they had been slightly off their game in the first period.

Chaplin said: "We gave them two sloppy goals in the first half after missing a first-minute penalty but got a goal back, and despite loads of pressure, we couldn't get an equaliser."

After Sonny Banks was fouled in the penalty area in the opening seconds, Josh Biggs' penalty, to give EP the ideal start, was saved by Sidley's keeper.
