West Meads martial arts duo tae rivals up in knots

Bobby White, ten, and Sophie Maynard, 13, who are members of Bognor Regis Taekwondo in West Meads, both returned from the event in Coventry with medals - Bobby with silver and Sophie bronze.

Bobby has been training for 18 months and Sophie for six years.

Their club is run by Dave Maynard, who has 20 years’ experience.

Classes are on a Wednesday night - children from 6.30 to 7.30pm and adults 7.30 to 8.30pm at the West Meads Community Centre.
