Brighton Palace Pier gets ready to reopen

Brighton Palace Pier has detailed all the health and safety measures being put in place as it prepares to open again on July 4.

Remy Haudecoeur, operations manager, promised a wholly safe return.

“This is the first time ever we have been totally closed, so it has been unique, unusual and unwelcome. It means everything to us to be able to open again. We are delighted to be able to welcome our teams safely again and very soon to see our customers.

People have had fun and made memories on Brighton Palace Pier for the last 121 years. We will do everything we can to be sure it will be the same for the next generations.

“We have introduced a range of new health and safety measures that will seek to reduce the risk associated with the presence of COVID-19 that are in line with government advice and the requirements of local health authorities.
