Photography by Brighton and Hove Camera Club members will be on show at Jubilee Library in two exhibitions during February and March.
The first will be a commemoration of the life and work of the late Bill Wisden and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. He passed away last year and was a two-time president for the Brighton and Hove Camera Club.
The exhibition is a showcase of around 80 prints of his darkroom and digital work.
In 1962 he was the youngest person to be elected to the London Salon of Photography, in 1963 became a fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and in 2011 was appointed MBE for his services to art.
He was a member of the Brighton and Hove Camera Club from 1954 until he died in January 2018,
The exhibition opens today (February 11) and runs until February 23.
The second exhibition, running from February 25 to March 12, will showcase Brighton and Hove Camera Club members’ work.
Around 70 images will be on display, demonstrating the range of interests the club’s 140 members have, spanning all ages, ability levels, and photography mediums.
The library is open from 10am to 7pm Monday to Thursday, and 10am to 5pm Friday to Sunday.
