Charity spring ball

The Hilton Avisford Park's annual spring ball, to be held on April 19, will benefit Winston's Wish, which helps bereaved children in West Sussex.

It will take place in the grand hall of the Arundel hotel, with a black and white theme.

Clare Scherer, of the charity, said: "We will benefit from a series of events throughout the year, leading up to a grand Christmas fair and all the proceeds will allow us to help more children in the county.

"It's tremendously exciting."
