A Lewes restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sussex Chef, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Suites 19-20, Sheffield Park Business Estate, East Grinstead Road was given the maximum score after assessment on March 29, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Lewes's 349 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 286 (82%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
