This was the scene of a large blaze at Houghton this afternoon.
Around 370 acres of crops were destroyed in the fire at Bury Hill this afternoon.
West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service say the fire has now been extinguished and the incident has been scaled back.
However fire engines and off-road vehicles from Billingshurst, Worthing, Littlehampton, Petworth, Storrington, Midhurst and Shoreham remain at the scene damping down..
