Teenager in '˜serious' condition after Brighton city centre stabbing

An 18-year-old was stabbed in Trafalgar Street, Brighton, on Tuesday evening (November 21).

The teenager suffered three stab wounds – one to his arm, one to his shoulder and one in his back – just before 7pm.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment and is currently in a serious but not life-threatening condition, say Sussex Police.

Police say two boys aged 15 and 16 were arrested at a nearby address shortly afterwards on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, and are currently in custody for interview and further enquiries.
