Van destroyed in deliberate Sompting blaze
A van was destroyed after being set on fire deliberately in the early hours of this morning (April 15).
Firefighters were called to Bushby Close, in Sompting, after a blaze broke out in the vehicle at about 2.30am.
Crews used a hose reel, a crowbar and an electric saw to tackle the fire.
No-one was injured and a spokesman for the fire service said the blaze was started deliberately.
