An key attacking player has been ruled out for the season after sustaining a broken foot in a car collision.
Haywards Heath Town FC star Callum Saunders was involved in a collision yesterday, according to the club’s website.
A spokesperson for the club said: “Earlier today Callum Saunders was involved in a car accident that has left the player with a broken foot and will see him sit out the remainder of the season.
“We understand that things could have been much worse and are relieved to hear that Callum has only sustained a broken foot after the incident.
“Everyone at the club would like to wish Callum a speedy recovery and look forward to his return.”
